Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

I received a call on a Saturday from this number and the guy had an Indian accent. He said he was from a company and stated it's name but I could hardly understand him. He then proceeded to offer me a new mobile phone free of charge. I said: "er, no thankyou." And straight after I said that he hung up.

I had a call from this number claiming to be Optus and that iv been selected for a new phone with Optus. some Indian accent male guy

Same as everyone above. However them have called me 4 times last week.

I received a call from this number advising I could receive a free Samsung phone and when would be best to receive it- morning or evening. When I asked further queries they hung up. I called back and a girl answered "Samsungite", then I was put on hold immediately. I called again and no answer.

Random bloke with indian accent told me i won a new phone. i told them they should have my details. He started to buckle after i asked him a few quaetions then he transferred me to the 'manager'. I told the manager he's not from optus and he told me to 'go to hell' haha. Then i told him where to go and he hung up. Con artists! Dont fall for it.

I was cold called as well by "Optus" offering me a new data plan. She was asking questions about my current phone plan and how much I was spending per week. Then she asked my name and phone number. After she asked for my birth date... That when I hung up because I felt that it was a fraud.

The line was really poor and I could barely understand the indian lady speaking. She was putting pressure on me and I am pretty sure she was reading her sales pitch.

i also received a call from that no but didnt pick up as i didnt know that no and it wasnt saved on my contacts now i know its a fraud ill be the one asking question and if they gimme my personal details to me they can send that phone lol.

Got a call today saying something about a new phone I couldn't hear him properly he said he would call back but never did

O received 3 calls and two voice messages were left but those weren't real voice messages. The gentleman with a very bad accent thought I answered^^

I received a call advising that I would be sent a brand new phone in the mail. I questioned them as to why I would be getting a new phone when I did not request it. He then asked if I used pre-paid, and after I advised no he started asking details about my current phone plan, I asked him why he didn't have these details if he was calling from Optus and he advised that it was for security purposes that he need me to clarify the details. After me telling him that I didn't have any of these details in front of me he hung up.

Cold calling from 'Optus' saying I would be sent a new touch screen mobile phone. Asking questions about my current phone/contract. Didn't give any information past "I don't use a pre-paid"

rang stated free optus phone. cold calling. see there are plenty of complaints
