They ring and ring. Really hard getting to the phone when you have constant meetings. They will not leave a message. I am blocking the number

this number is calling my mobile everyday not only once but twice all round the same time this has been going on for the last fortnight have put a block on the number but they still ring

I have been missing calls from this number for a couple of weeks - they leave no message but I called it back on time and connected with an automated message that it was an ANZ call and they would try again later. Today I answered the call and they hung up so no one is any the wiser - annoying though.

I've been receiving several calls a day from this number since last week. They haven't even bothered to leave a message for me, so I'm not wasting my money calling them back.
I recently added my mobile number to the Do Not Call register (maybe a week ago), and they seem to have started calling since that.

I've been receiving daily calls from this number since last week. They called whilst I was in a meeting stated they were from ANZ and wanted to discuss our banking. I said it wasn't a great time and to call back later. They have called every day since then and never left a message. I would call them back if they bothered to leave a msg about what they wished to speak about but I can not be bothered answering another cold call.

Hi guys we've had similar issues w this number. They called about 4 times this week, but will never leave leave a message. Thank you for this site. Don't give out your private details as it sounds v dodgy to me!

Got 3 calls from them. Mobile didn't ring at all but got the "missed" call messages each time. No voice messages was left. Sounds suspicious.

Constantly recieving calls from this number - several each day, I have only answered once and when I answered they had call waiting music on, I refuse to speak to anyone who does this, so I hung up before they could say anything. I don't know anyone from Victoria so was a little concerned already but now I have read everyone else's complaints I will be ignoring this number from now on.

Receiving constant messages from this number (03) 8693 5488. Couldn't be bothered calling numbers I don't know. Avoid this number.

Received a call from this number and they hung up. I's recently lodged a complaint with ANZ (which was resolved) so I suspect that they are calling as an additional follow-up. Pain in the proverbial that it hangs up.

Just got a call from this number. Other end hang up as soon as I picked up. Thought I'll add this as a count to this number still being active.

Received a call from this number - I answered and they hung up..
A few minutes later, another call from this number - and again they hung up!
A few hours later, they rang again.. When I answered, the guy (Indian call centre)demanded I tell him all my personal info before he would continue talking to me..
I said "You rang me mate. I don't know who you are, or what you want - and you've hung up on me twice already today".. Then I hung up on them!!

They are very rude!

Someone (sounds like an Indian accent) rang my mobile phone saying this was a courtesy call from ANZ Bank asking my feedback of their services. However, before I provide any feedback, he started asking me all the important personal information like my ANZ client number, my full name, my date of birth, my address... If this was just a courtesy call from ANZ bank, they should have known my details already, why they wanted to verify my personal information again? The number appeared on my mobile phone was 03-8693 5488.

I rang ANZ hoax line 13 33 50 and reported this number. I also did a reverse trace on it in actual fact it not an Australian number is is re-routed from an overseas call center, something that the guy from ANZ was not aware of.

He did confirm it was an ANZ call center number however, but I explained to him getting unsolicited calls from random numbers by Indian sounding people who don't clearly identify themselves nor their purpose and dive straight into asking for personal banking details over the phone is not good security or privacy practice for ANZ bank.

I suggested he talk to his supervisor about this highly suspect way of engaging customers rather than tradition means of mail or even email.

Ringing me constantly on home phone and mobile. Does not leave any message despite having message machine on land line and message bank on mobile. Will not answer this call until they leave me a message that makes sense and I know who they are. Very annoying! Do they not understand that people do not wish to be bothered by cold-callers? If they are ligitimate then leave a message!!!!

stated from ANZ have I looked at my account recently? very scary if this is ANZ customer service giving away your details to a 3rd party with overseas accent it is time to look at privacy policy
