Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

We weren't asked for any upfront payments (yet?) but were given the same spiel on the phone and were suspicious. Woman (with Asian accent) who rang claimed to be from Dept of Reclaims and said that we were owed $5000 in overpaid bank charges.
Told to ring 0261001883 and speak with Neil Parker and quote our Ref number. When we rang the number, we were told to ring back in a few minutes. They confirmed our postal address so that they could "send our cheque"

This Christopher Dunkin keeps calling my Mother and saying he has a refund for her of over $5,000 in over changed fees & gives her a ref No RJ5412. When I tried calling him back regarding the matter & questioned him about this, I was told to F... Off.. These people are very sick & it needs to STOP....

Received call from 0261001883 offering $5248.00 for overcharges $2.00 here $2.00 there. Their R. No.YA100.Sounds like scam, must be scam. BEVARE.

Mother receiced call offering to refund monies owing to her. Contact given was 02 6100 1883 ref no SK147. Dominic. Checked internet and called back. Told her to stop scamming old people.

Had a call from an Asian woman who was difficult to understand. I have a refund of $5248 due but had to call her manager on 0261001883 and quote TA091 to organise the refund of bank fees. I didn't bother making the call but am concerned others may be taken by this scam.

Yes ,got the same scam call .About to ring them and give them a gob full , idiots.

Same as previous caller. They said they were from Federal Government Reclaims Department and had a cheque for $5248 to send for overcharged bank fees. Told us to ring this phone number, quoting Reference number TA091 and ask for Christopher Duncan. I did not return the call

received a call today, same details call to receive my $5200 +. Never called back after googled the ph # 02 6100 1883

Call from Michael claiming Federal Government reclaim department wished to present me with a cheque for $5248 dollars being "overcharge bank fees". Michael required me to phone his manager Christopher Duncan on 0261001883 which we did. My husband thought to google the number while this conversation occurred. He found the warnings on this site.I asked my husband to read aloud Brendan's post over the phone to Christopher. The silence was obvious from Christopher and we asked if this was a scam and asked if the next request was for money. He assured us it was not and that his assistant would deliver the cheque within 24 to 48 hours - not a bad response from a "Federal Government Department" and, lets not mention that a federal government official would be personally delivering said moneys to my letterbox. I will wait and see the outcome of 24 to 48 hours - SCAM.

Just received call from this # using reference # SR600 and speak to Christopher Duncan. They didn't ask me for any money though. Very strange - I shall not be calling them :-)

Just got same call, didn't ask for money. Why don't they go and get real jobs!

Contacted claiming the Federal Govt owed me $5000 odd dollars and to ring the manager's number (above) to claim the money. Wanted an upfront payment of $199 to process the fictitious claim. Reminiscent of the Nigerian Scams. Sounds Indian in origin. Beware.

call from jenny at 'federal complaint department' offering to repay overcharged transaction fees. i needed to reply call to 0261001883, with a given reference no ('RF600') and was offered payment ONCE I HAD PAID $199 LAWYERS FEES.
